Day trip to Martha’s Vineyard

My wife and I enjoyed this day trip. We were collected on time by a well organized driver who gave just enough commentary on the tour. The ferry ride to the island from Falmouth ran on time then we were greeted by a local driver for a tour of the island. Note the local island tour is an extra but well worth it. Thought you can hire cars mopeds and bicycles. It was a big 12 hour day. If you are staying near the subway ask the driver to let you out in Back Bay on the way home and explore this area.

Excellent small group tour from Boston

Used this company to visit Newport Rhode Island. Unfortunately if rained most of the day. The tour leader was flexible enough to replace an outdoor activity with a visit to an extra mansion. His commentary was very informative. I liked the size of the group – 11.

Newport Day Trip

Very efficient booking and tour service. Everything was smooth and easy – from booking the tour online, to arranging for the pick up place and on the tour itself. The 14-seater bus was spacious and comfortable enough. Snacks were provided on the trip making it quite a worry-free and enjoyable one. These little things do matter 🙂 Newport is a charming place and the Newport Mansions breath-taking. The pace was just right. Would definitely use them again, this time for Martha’s Vineyard!

Highlight of our trip was a visit to Marthas vineyard. Pick up at our hotel at the agreed time. On the island we took the 3 hour guided tour and it was worth it. Our guide lived on the island all hos life and he was fantastic. Great knowledge and very funny. I can’t remember his name but he used to fix t.v’s on the island. The tour is great as the use mini buses so the can you on the smaller roads.

Trips to Newport Harbor and Martha’s Vineyard

Brad picked us up at our hotel in South Boston on the way to pick up others downtown. We had a great trip to Newport, Enjoyed touring The Breakers. We opted to have him take us back so we could hike along the trail in the afternoon. He was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed it a lot. In fact, we booked Martha’s Vineyard for the next day. Steve picked us up at the hotel – this was a really nice thing as we didn’t have to find our way around. He gave us lots of information on the way down to Falmouth and the tour through there. We were met by Alex at the other end of the ferry ride and had a great tour of the island. It was much bigger than we thought it would be. Enjoyed the tour very much. We highly recommend taking these trips.

Great Trip… Worth the Money

We were picked up on time at the Westin Copley at 6:30 a.m. A nice ride down to Falmouth. We went with the bus tour that was arranged to view the island in total. Martha’s Vineyard is a bigger island than I would have thought necessitating the early start. Our tour guide was Alex and very knowledgeable. You have about three stops for the whole time your on the island including the last one where you’re given time to shop/ explore/ eat lunch. You report back to the dock, the Island Queen picks you up, takes you back to Falmouth. Then it’s a comfotable bus ride back to Boston. It was a great trip to get the lay of the land on Martha’s Vineyard. There maybe a cheaper way to do it. But, New England Trips makes it painless, hassle-free and enjoyable which makes it worth the money in my opinion. Have used other tour companies in Boston and this one has them beat by a long shot.
